Cornelis Galle was a Flemish engraver known for his masterful depictions of religious and mythological scenes. Active in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, he worked in the Baroque style, creating highly detailed engravings that emphasized dramatic contrasts and intricate line work.

Galle collaborated with renowned artists like Peter Paul Rubens, translating their paintings into striking prints. His work played a key role in spreading Baroque art across Europe.
